Curiosity Games is our series of educational titles developed by our studio VR Labs, for various classes ranging from Middle School Math to University Level Physics.
Curiosity Games is a virtual reality standards-aligned adventure infused with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) subject matter and gaming to increase student engagement and learning outcomes. Curiosity Games curriculum is designed around Cast’s Universal for Design Learning (UDL) guidelines. The purpose of our software is to create expert learners who are not only stellar mathematicians but are purposeful, motivated, resourceful, knowledgeable, strategic, competitive, and goal orientated.
Our Labs are free for students and teachers with ads, and we provide a paid version with no ads.
Curiosity Games currently has two courses available on the Google PlayStore for Android in early-access: Middle School Math, and University Physics. Chromebooks, Phones (Android 8 or Later), PC’s, and PSVR are devices that will be able to have access to the Curiosity Games app. Virtual Reality is optional and is not required for Curiosity Games. If you choose to not use Virtual Reality, then Curiosity Games will work with a mouse and a keyboard on a PC/Laptop, or Chromebook. If you choose to use VR on Android, you will need a phone compatible with a Google Cardboard 2 or similar headset and a compatible Bluetooth game controller:
Curiosity Games is currently being tested and used by 140 7th grade students in a Texas Title 1 International Baccalaureate Middle School. Student engagement and performance has increased and we are actively getting feedback from the curriculum team at the school.
